Emotional Freedom Technique for Wealth
Friday, August 28th, 2009
How would you like to be wealthy? Before you yell, “I would love it,” think about it for a minute. Many people have underlying beliefs about wealth and money that actually prevent them from obtaining the money that they claim to want. Deep down, do you have issues that are keeping you from accepting the possibility that you actually could be wealthy?
You can use the emotional freedom technique for wealth to help you overcome these issues. First, let’s address a few common issues that people have that are related to being wealthy or having an abundance of money.
The fear of lack. Deep down, many people believe that they will never have enough money. This can stem from constantly working and getting paid, yet never having all the money needed to cover financial obligations. Thinking that you will never have enough money can discourage you from seeking new opportunities that could bring you success and wealth.
The rich stigma. Some people are a bit cynical, and believe that some or all wealthy individuals are greedy or have somehow been dishonest in obtaining their money. People who don’t want to become greedy or thought of as dishonest avoid anything that will bring them abundance.
Being afraid to change as a person. Not all change is bad. While getting rich might make you a different person, that doesn’t mean that you will become a self-centered snob, or someone that you don’t want to be. In fact, wealth can help you do all of the things that you have always wanted to do, and allow you the freedom to be who you where truly meant to be.
Feeling unworthy. There are a lot of people who simply don’t believe that they deserve to be rich. Everyone has the right. If others can obtain wealth, so can you.
Are you facing one or more of these hindering thought patterns? Try using the emotional freedom technique for wealth. As you tap each point, release each negative thought one by one. Get rid of the thoughts that tell you:
“I will never have all the money I need.”
“The wealthy are greedy and dishonest.”
“Being rich will make me a bad person.”
“I don’t deserve wealth.”
Once you have released these fears, you should continue the emotional freedom technique for wealth process with positive thoughts that debunk the negative thinking you just released. As you tap each point, tell yourself that you are thankful that you can have abundance and that you deserve wealth. Determine that being rich will not corrupt you, but you will be an honest and giving person.
Practice the emotional freedom technique for wealth until your thinking is clear of hindrances. Then, go after your wealth!
